letters to the editor
M.F. from Constanta (SE Romania) writes (with capital letters): “I wanna become member of ACCEPT where I can meet lads with which I can make friends because I can come in BUcharest quite often."

Dear M., you're welcome to ACCEPT, in accordance with the activity program.
However I can't guarantee that you are going to meet Mr. Right here :(.
I've already sent you the Constitution of ACCEPT and the membership form by post.

Gabriel: “May I congratulate you! I think that there's a lot that we can learn from you. I hope you'll have the patience to deal with the shy and undecided too. I for instance don't know, because I'm fraid, exactly what I want. I would like you to help me, if you can, to find a place where I can buy gay magazines, books, and videotapes. Also, if there are other gays out there who would like to exchange mail, this I'd like very much. I hope that what I'm asking asking is not unappropriate or anything; if so, please excuse me."

Dear Gabriel, - Thank you, on behalf of ACCEPT, for the congratulations.
Regarding your first question, I could recommend a bookshop in Copenhagen, but I don't that it would help much. Seriously speaking, there is no such shop in Romania. ACCEPT has a Centre for Information and Documentation when one can borrow books and magazines. As for mail exchange, ACCEPT doesn't want to be perceived as a matrimonial agency, but you can visit some websites (see http://accept.ong.ro/romanalinks.html), where lesbians and gays can post messages and personals.
