The second single, published at the end of August, “On a Night Like This,” was forbidden on British television, because it was thought to be too sexy. In order to be broadcast, the video was censored, cutting the more daring scenes, showing the Australian singer naked. In its initial version, she played a bored housewife doing anything that comes across her mind in order to attract men’s attention. Considered to be too daring, the scenario was changed and this is how the “homely” version of the video came up, addressed to the public under 18 as well. But even this one is very daring. Kylie comes out of a swimming pool with wet clothes on her body, caressing her tits, and lustfully undresses in front her husband and his friends. For an additional touch of glamour in the video, she features diamond jewels worth three million pounds sterling. Throughout the shooting of the video, the star was guarded by four bodyguards.
In spite of all criticism, Kylie Minogue remains a perfect artist, being considered among the top 20 beautiful women in the world, next to already famous names in the world of fashion, according to an opinion poll conducted by the famous fashion magazine, Vogue.
