The objective of the workshop is to offer the participants information regarding the geographical conditions, the economical, cultural and social characteristics of countries from all over the world.
        The co-ordinators would like to provide the audio-visual aids as well as the printed materials for the workshop by directly contacting the embassies and the cultural centres in order to receive the information which promotes the image of the respective countries, and thus to support cultural relations.
        Through these contacts, the workshop’s co-ordinators intend to identify opportunities for cultural exchange, education, professional training and activities promoting human rights and equal chances.
        On the basis of the available materials, the members of the workshop will be asked to produce exhibitions, graphical representations, and scenarios of possible routes and initiatives for cultural exchange, according to the given opportunities. The best contributions will be awarded prizes consisting in promotion matters offered by the cultural centres and/or made by the members of the Creation Workshop at ACCEPT. Depending on the achievements, there will be cultural programs in Bucharest (visits to museums, art galleries, cultural centres etc.), in the suburbs and in other places of tourist interest in the country.
        The Geography and Culture Workshop will bring about events, which are significant for the association: seminars, participation at events organised by other NGOs, meetings with specialists, personalities of the cultural life, journalists.
        The most active participants will receive the diploma “The road fits well the traveller”.

The workshop will take place every Tuesday, at 4 p.m.
